International Lunch Event

17. 4. 2025 Authors: Zlata Pidperyhora, Anna Piliuhina, Berkcan Tokyay Continuing the tradition, the MUP International Office held its annual International Lunch event on April 11, 2025.

Students from all over the world came together to share their cuisine, culture, and emotions. During the lunch, everyone had the chance to play their national music, and the atmosphere was simply amazing – everyone had a fantastic and unforgettable time!

Japanese Music Sounded Through the University Japanese Music Sounded Through the University 11. 4. 2025 Author: Michal Kolmaš Metropolitan University Prague hosted a captivating Japanese cultural event featuring a live performance of traditional music and dance. The performers including some notable cultural figures from Japan such as Mayumi Ono and Eiren Nishikawa introduced the audience to the elegant and refined world of buyō dance and traditional Japanese instruments, including six kotos and a shamisen. Their performance combined grace, precision, and deep cultural symbolism, leaving a strong impression on all attendees. For example, the ability to rent a power bank in the subway using a QR code and return it at a completely different location. Everything is fast, efficient, and it’s clear how much Koreans value systematic progress.
