MUP is a member of the Erasmus+ project on improvement of internships at universities
In 2019, Metropolitan University Prague became a member of the Erasmus+ project on improvement of internships at universities. Besides MUP, other participants of the project are University of Edinburgh, University of the Basque Country (Bilbao), Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, University of Deggendorf and, as the coordinator, Educa International o.p.s.Project meetings of the whole team started in Autumn 2019 at MUP but then they were discontinued due to the pandemic and only the project meeting at University of Deggenfort took place, partly in person and partly online. The project meeting hosted by University of Edinburgh (2–3 May 2022) was one of the last one as the project will end in August 2022. The subject of this meeting was the presentation of the up-to-then results of the questionnaire research and the debate on the final report, which should be begun at the next meeting in Košice. The results of the project will be published on the MUP website when the project is over.

Immerse yourself in the study of the Middle East with new books!

Students of MUP now have access to hundreds of book titles on the Middle East, Islam, and Judaism. These volumes come from the private library of Břetislav Tureček, who has decided to make them available to the wider academic community.

Guest Lecture by SAP Expert Mr Štěpán Koníček at MUP

On Friday, 14 November 2025, the Department of Financial Management at MUP welcomed Mr Štěpán Koníček from SAP for a guest lecture focused on modern human resource management and the practical use of artificial intelligence. The event drew approximately 50 students, who appreciated the clear connection between theory and real corporate practice.
