Professor Blanka Knotková-Čapková Received a Prestigious International Award

22. 2. 2023 Author: editors Professor Blanka Knotková-Čapková, member of Department of Asian Studies at MUP, received Subankim Chattopadhyay Memorial Bankim Chandra International Literary Award for year 2022.

Bankim Memorial Literary Award is the highest award given by the Government of West Bengal for contribution to field of Comparative Indian Literature. The award was instituted in 1975 in memory of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, a famous Bengali novelist of the 19th century.
