The objective of this conference is to bring together academics and practitioners to discuss the topical issues for gender analyses in South, Southeast and East Asia, as well as their reflections in media, art, film and literature. In Asian studies, gender issues are often interconnected with other emancipation factors, especially in their intersections with postcolonial or subaltern studies. The conference is, therefore, inter-disciplinary and welcomes research findings in fields such as sociology, anthropology, economics, cultural studies, political science, international relations and history.

Možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA pro studenty MUP

Na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha se uskutečnily dvě hostovské prezentace zaměřené na možnosti profesní kvalifikace ACCA, určené studentům ekonomických a manažerských oborů MUP. Přednášejícím byl PhDr. Pavel Procházka, Business Relationship Manager mezinárodní profesní organizace ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
Delegace tchajwanských univerzit na Metropolitní univerzitě Praha

Metropolitní univerzitu Praha navštívila delegace třiceti zástupců z dvanácti předních tchajwanských univerzit. Se zástupci vedení MUP, jednotlivých kateder, CVVA a zahraničního oddělení jednali v příjemné a konstruktivní atmosféře o možnostech dalšího rozvoje vzájemné akademické spolupráce.
